An unexpected weekend at home

We had plans to go down to Richmond to visit some friends, but had to cancel the trip due to momma-to-be having pre term labor and being stuck on bed rest in the hospital. Keep those legs crossed Becky!! So, we got an unexpected weekend at home with no plans. Sadly, the weather was not in our favor. We've both been itching to get out and play some golf. It wasn't meant to be. Friday night was pretty laid back - we caught up on a week's worth of TV (gotta love the DVR). Saturday we ran a few errands, ate lunch AND dinner out and then watched more TV after the kids went to bed. Sunday was Church, lunch out, and working around the house - Mike outside, me inside. We went for a drive (how cliche!) and played at the park for a while and then went home for dinner (what a novel idea). A pretty slow weekend. On one hand I think we could/should have been more productive, on the other hand, it was nice to relax for a bit. Oh, yeah we made Abby's costume for her first school performance - she is a polka dotted sheep. Looking forward to hearing 15 two year olds sing "Baa Baa Black Sheep". I'm going to go charge up the video recorder now!!
