Paranoid

Do you ever get the feeling that somewhere there is a hidden camera watching you interact with your children and filing all footage away for some pathetic episode of Nanny 911?! Today was one of those days. After our disasterous attempt at the grocery store this morning, I went back this afternoon - with BOTH kids (I know - what, am I crazy?!) It went fairly smoothly - this time I knew where everything I wanted was (in the cart I left behind earlier this morning - arg). But the checkout lines were horrible and both kids finally managed to escape the little red car. DS climbed up the front while DD wandered. Finally, it was our turn to put the groceries on the belt and DS (who I repeated asked to "GET DOWN" and forcibly removed several times) fell backwards off the red car and whacked his head on the corner of the belt machine. Great. Now he's screaming bloody murder cause he's in pain and scared and I have managed to get one item on the belt and I'm not quite positive where DD is. I did manage to get all the groceries transfered to the belt (one handed - the other was occupied holding DS). Checked out and put the kids and the food in the car. Everyone had a Hershey Kiss on the way home. Please don't call the SuperNanny on me!
