Oh, What a night

Last night was one of my top ten worst nights ever. After a very nice evening out with our small group, the family came home and we started the bedtime routine. Put Abby in bed and then put Josh to bed. No one went to sleep. Josh was up for about 3 hours screaming - there was just no consoling him. When he did nod off, he woke up as soon as you put him back into his bed. Ugh. Then, there was Abby. Angel that she is. She's going through a phase where she wants to be potty trained, but she isn't. So, she likes to take off her diaper. At night. And then fall asleep. Last night, though, she apparently had too much sugar before bed. It was a good two hours and many redressings, before she finally fell asleep, unbeknownst to us, naked. I went to bed around 10 and sometime after midnight Mike came to get me because Abby was naked and had wet her bed. So, while he cleaned her up and redressed her (again), I stripped the bed and remade it. Back to bed by 1 something, up again with Josh around 3:15. Both kids awake for the day by 7. All in all, not my best night's sleep!
