Foiled again

Having a conversation with my 3-year old is getting tough. Example: we were driving to dinner tonight and she commented on how many cars there were on the road...

DD: "sure are a lot of cars on the road, Mommy"
Me: "Yup"
DD: "why are there so many cars, Mommy?"
Me: "Cause it's a busy road."
DD: "why is it a busy road, Mommy?"
Me: "Cause there are a lot of cars" (at this point, I was hoping to just make this a cyclical converstion - we were quite close to our destintation)
DD: "why are there so many cars on this busy road, Mommy?"
Me: "uh." (DANG, when did she get so smart?!)
